Belvoir Vale Surgery has now merged with The Welby Practice
We will still be referred to as Belvoir Vale for the time being and the Welby will be referred to as Bottesford Welby, as there are other sites at Harlaxton and Waltham.
You will notice some changes e.g. The Welby Practice header on letters, etc.
You will be able to book appointments with GPs, ANP, NP, Nurses and HCAs across all the sites.

Improving SMS text Communication
We want to improve the way we communicate with patients. Some of you are already receiving text message reminders for appointments. We want to widen the number of patients benefiting from this service and we want to use the service for more than just appointment reminders. For example, we might text you to let you know when a prescription is ready to collect or to ask you to come for your annual review.
From March 2018, if we've got your mobile number, we'll include you in this service unless you've opted out. Please let us know if you would not like to be part of this service and please make sure you inform us if your mobile number changes.
You can NOW view parts of your Patient Record online.
Detailed coded record shows:
Clinical coded information, e.g. diagnosis, symptoms, blood pressure readings, ethnicity, medical/surgical procedures, referrals made and correspondence received (not the attachments themselves).
To access this part of SystmOnline Services you will need to complete a new Online registration form and provide 2 forms of I.D. Please speak to the Receptionist for further information.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your requests to be processed.

Friends and Family Test
NHS Midlands and East want you to have the best possible experience of care. The NHS Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback, so we can continually review our service. It is based on one question:

Keeping Records Up to Date
Please keep us informed of any changes to addresses, telephone numbers, surnames, etc. It is essential we maintain personal details for:
Correspondence, e.g. hospital referrals, health check invites, results, etc.
National Summary Care Record
Visits by GPs or NHS Community Staff
Dispensing of medications
Please do not assume that if your address has changed and you are now out of the practice area, you will be able to stay on the practice list. Speak to one of our receptionists if you have a query or need to up date your records.
